recording at jeff's place (fishtown, summer/fall 2001) included the following personnel (not all of whom appear in photos): damon rob andy ryan adam junko avery. the sessions were informally dubbed 'the lost battery sessions' on account of some fellow stealing the battery from andy's pickup in broad daylight. thank you sir or madam.




SWIRLIES, RESCUED PHOTOS (SUMMER 1993):
the black and white images were (stupidly) taken in 1993 on a very old roll of E-4 process Ektachrome color slide film. They were finally developed in 2001 through the efforts of Film Rescue International (S. Dakota), and show young swirlies cavorting around enormous prairie chicken and buffalo statues in the great american plains. please note: matthew sheppeck is crawling out of the prairie chicken's cloaca.

THE PHILADELPHIA HAIRSTYLE (DESIGNED FOR SUMMER 2001):
a new hairstyle was patented during the lost battery sessions. here is a visual record of some of those infected with this fashionable, ostrich-like coiffure.
